are available only if sufficient stock is available from our warehouses
and we are not liable if we are unable to supply particular goods.
You will not be charged should stocks become exhausted and will be
notified by email within 48 hours of such and an alternative choice

and price. In the event that you wish to cancel following receipt
of such goods, we will not bear the cost of returning such substitute
goods provided thay have been kept in good condition and unopened.

debit your account for more than the amount stated in the promotion
to reflect any increase in the cost of the goods for reasons beyond

Wines can be bought in a case of six only, but can be multiples of
6. Spirits and Champagnes can be bought by the single bottle.
The prices payable for the wine that you order are clearly
set out in the website. If, by mistake, we have under-priced an item,
we will not be liable to supply that item to you at the stated price,
provided that we notify you before we dispatch the item concerned.
All prices are expressed inclusive of any VAT payable unless otherwise
Inevitable some wines go out of stock or become unavailable during
the current portfolio. This is especially likely over busy trading
periods, Vintages, labels and closures may vary, a substitute may
be used to complete an order, providing that we are confident that
it is fully the peer of, and as good value, as the unavailable item.
Whilst we make every effort to ensure that the advertised vintage
is the one that we deliver, we cannot guarantee which vintage will
be shipped to you. However, you are still able to return the wine
if you are not satisfied, at your cost.
Your statutory rights are not affected. If a specific
vintage is required we would urge you to contact us by Email
to confirm the current vintage.
Our obligation is to deliver the products at the delivery address
you have specified in your order to a person who appears to be over
the age of 18 and who appears to be authorised to take delivery. Delivery
is not available on public holidays. We may deliver the products at
any time during the day. All timed deliveries cannot be guaranteed
due to unforseen circumstances. No refund will be issued for deliveries
arriving earlier/later than specified as am/pm within our expected
delivery timeslots. Goods cannot be returned after the signing of
a delivery other than those which are faulty/damaged and these will
receive a full refund and be re-despatched free of charge, Simply
Wines Direct will also arrange for their return.
Where specific courier instructions are given, we cannot be held responsible
for goods not being recieved where our couriers have a POD (proof
of delivery) or inform us that the 'goods were
left as instructed'. You are therefore obliged to ensure that
any specific courier instructions given are correct, and that the
information provided by you ensures a safe and accurate delivery.
We may use an independent carrier. If there is no one to accept the
delivery of your order a card will be left by the carrier so that
you can arrange a delivery time, directly with the carrier. Ultimately,
if the carrier is unable to deliver your order it will be returned
to us and you will be charged for it to be redespatched.
We will not have any responsibility or liability for the non-delivery
of any goods unless either
1)You must inspect the products on the day of receipt and notify us
the same day of any defects. We will replace or refund you for defective
products if notified of any damage or defects on the day of receipt.
2) Our total liability to you for non-delivery of any goods is limited
to delivering the goods within 10 working days of your telling us
about the non-delivery, or at our discretion, crediting your account
with the value of the goods not delivered plus the delivery charge.
We will not be liable to you for any lack of performance or the unavailability
or failure of this website or our services, or for any failure by
us to comply with these Terms and Conditions, where such lack, unavailability
or failure arises from any cause reasonably beyond our control.
You are able to cancel any order made within 7 working days from the
day after the day on which the goods are delivered, by giving written
notice to us, by leaving it or posting it to our address or sending
a fax or email to us. A refund, minus original despatch costs, will
be issued within 14 working days of good's return. Simply Wines Direct
can only credit you upon safe receipt and inspection of the goods
into our warehouse. We shall accept returns and give full refunds
only where the goods have not been opened or damaged. All credits
will be issued within 14 working days of cancellation.
An administration fee of £50 will be charged for BACS/CHAPS
payments made into our account if the order is cancelled once monies
have been recieved, plus any additional bank charges in resending
the monies back to the customer.
CLAIMS FOR BREAKAGES/FAULTY
On rare occasions when a breakage occurs or goods are faulty, we will
offer a replacement or a credit on the return of the items in question.
Upon receipt of your order, you should inspect it to make sure that
it is intact and in full. The courier must be informed at time of
delivery and all breakages/shortages or faulty goods must be stated
on their documentation. We must be notified on the day of receipt
and you should notify us the same day of any defects, the said goods
returned within a further 5 days and we will have the goods collected
by our couriers at no extra cost to yourself. All claims and details
for these are also required by post, fax or email. We cannot offer
a refund if you simply don't like the wine, only if it is faulty.
If bottles are broken in transit to you, the damaged goods will be
returned to us. Shipping costs for the damaged portion of the delivery
back to us is at our expense - customers must contact us to arrange
the return shipping. All refunds will be made within 14 days of agreeing

delivery and all our orders arrive within ten working days throughout
most of England, Scotland (certain areas are excluded - email for
details ) and Wales. When you choose your order and send it to us
with your payment and delivery details by 13.00 hrs, we guarantee
that you will have your order within ten working days. All orders
received by 13.00 hrs will be dispatched and delivered within ten
working days. (Subject to Stock Availbility) - However we aim to despach
within 5 days where possible.

Orders cannot be made over the website if the

If the parcel is returned to us and you do not wish us to re-send
